Stoke have confirmed the signing of Badou Ndiaye from Galatasaray for €16 million.

The 27-year-old midfielder joins Stoke on a four-and-a-half year deal and is their third signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Moritz Bauer from Rubin Kazan and Kostas Stafylidis on loan from Augsburg.

Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo signs for Galatasaray on loan

Yuto Nagatomo has opted to move on.

Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo has joined Galatasaray on a six-month loan deal.

Nagatomo, 29, extended his contract with Inter Milan until the 2018-19 season back in 2016 but has found playing time hard to come by this season.

The Japan international full-back joined Inter from Cesena in January 2011 and has made 210 appearances and scored 11 goals in all competitions for the club.

He was also part of the side which won the Coppa Italia in the 2010-11 season.

Newcastle's Henri Saivet joins Sivasspor on short-term loan

Henri Saivet will play alongside Robinho at Sivasspor.

Henri Saivet has left Newcastle to join Turkish side Sivasspor on loan for the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old was signed by then Magpies boss Steve McClaren for around £5 million in January 2016.

However, Saivet has struggled to make an impact in the north east and, having only made four appearances in all competitions this season, has joined Sivasspor on loan.

Robin van Persie agrees to return to first club Feyenoord

Robin van Persie is leaving Fenerbahce to return to Feyenoord.

Robin van Persie has agreed to rejoin his first club Feyenoord after 14 years away.

The Dutch striker, best known for spells with Arsenal and Manchester United, is set to terminate his deal with Turkish club Fenerbahce.

The Rotterdam side announced the news on Friday, saying Van Persie, now 34, would officially join them on Monday.

Van Persie left to join Arsenal in 2004, going on to score 132 goals for the Gunners, winning the FA Cup in 2005.
