Micho Sredojevic threatens Uganda over $54,000 debt

Former Uganda coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic has warned the Ugandan federation to pay the debt they owe him or risk being sanctioned by FIFA.

Sredojevic guided Uganda to the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year after a near-four-decade absence from the continental showpiece, but terminated his contract with the Ugandan FA on July 28th citing non-payment of his outstanding arrears and bonuses.

In total, the Serbian coach claims that he's owed $54,000 by FUFA.

Moses Magogo, the president of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA), has called on government to take more care of the national team if they hope to build on recent successes.

The Cranes qualified for their first Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in 38 years when they reached the finals in Gabon in January, and also won the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup back in 2015.

However, they have made headlines for all the wrong reasons recently, with highly sought-after coach Milutin Sredojevic...

Micho rejected Uganda contract, reveal FUFA

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) have revealed that coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic rejected a new contract to remain with the East Africans before leaving his post last week.

The Serbian coach guided the Cranes to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations - ending their 38-year wait to return to the continental high table - but handed in a letter of resignation after accusing the Ugandan association of failing to pay his salary.

Micho: Uganda took me for granted

Milutin Sredojevic feels he was taken for granted when he was in charge of the Uganda national team.

The 47-year-old Serbian, who qualified the Cranes to the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time after 38 years in January, terminated his contract with FUFA on Friday, citing the FA's failure to pay his outstanding salary and bonuses, which reportedly amounts to around $64,000.

"It has been painful; I have really been suffering because of late payments, yet I was putting in more than 100 percent,"...

Uganda must choose local coach to replace Micho - Obua

Former Uganda wideman David Obua has advised the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) to appoint a local coach when they come to choosing the replacement for the departed Milutin Sredojevic.

The Serbian coach guided the team to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, ending Uganda's 38-year absence from the continental high table, but announced on Sunday that he had terminated his contract with Uganda due to the federation's failure to honour his contract.

"I advise the Uganda FA not to press...
