India have qualified for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in United Arab Emirates (UAE) with their 4-1 win over Macau in Bengaluru on Wednesday. They have sealed qualification in some style in a tricky group, with two matches to spare.

Substitute Balwant Singh scored twice in the second half to help India beat Macau 2-0 in their third match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers at the Estádio Campo Desportivo in Macau on Tuesday.

Balwant, who replaced Eugeneson Lyngdoh at the start of the second half, provided a direct approach which India lacked in the first half despite dominating possession. Syria-South Korea World Cup qualifier moved to Malaysia

War-torn Syria's World Cup qualifier with South Korea has been moved from Macau to Malaysia, the Asian Football Confederation told Agence France-Presse on Thursday.

Macau was a late withdrawal as host after talks between Syria and Macau broke down. South Korea, unsure about Tuesday's match, cancelled their bookings for the southern Chinese territory, AFP reported.
