Gor Mahia confirm Algerian interest in Francis Kahata

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has confirmed that Algerian club Club Sportif Constantinois are interested in signing Kenya international Francis Kahata.

The wideman was impressive both for club and country during the 2018 campaign as he led Gor Mahia to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage by scoring the all-important away goal against Supersport United.

He has also been a key player for Sebastien Migne's Harambee Stars as the team edges closer to qualifying for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

AFC Leopards sign Rwanda goalkeeper

Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards has completed the signing of Rwanda keeper Eric Ndayishimiye on a two-year deal.

The former Rayon Sports skipper joins the Kenyan Premier League outfit after weeks of negotiations between his representatives and the club.

Leopards have confirmed his capture through a brief statement posted on the club's Facebook page.

"Rwandese goalkeeper Eric 'Bakame' Ndayishimiye has signed a two-year contract with AFC Leopards," the statement began. "Welcome to the Den,...

Dylan Kerr resigns from Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia have confirmed that they have parted ways with English coach Dylan Kerr, who led K'Ogalo to two consecutive Kenyan Premier League titles.

The manager travelled to England with the team for last week's Sportpesa Cup clash against Everton at Goodison Park, but didn't return to Kenya with Gor amidst a health scare.

The club confirmed in a statement on Thursday that Kerr had handed in his resignation and would not be returning to Kenya.

"I have today received a resignation letter from coach...

AWOL coach Dylan Kerr concerning for Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia CEO Lodvick Aduda is concerned about the absence of head coach Dylan Kerr, who has gone AWOL since the Kenyan champions' exhibition match against Everton earlier this week.

Kerr was on the bench as Gor were defeated 4-0 by Everton in the SportPesa Cup at Goodison Park earlier this week, but didn't return with the team from England on Saturday.

"Coach Kerr's absence worries us," Aduda told KweséESPN. "We have several games coming, with the preliminary match of the CAF Champions League...

Equatorial Guinea replace Kenya on eve of AWCON

The Confederation of African Football have accepted Equatorial Guinea's appeal against their ban for the upcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations, duly reinstating the Central Africans at the expense of Kenya.

Only nine days before the tournament kicks off in Ghana, CAF issued a statement revealing that Equatorial Guinea had successfully appealed against their ban for fielding an ineligible player.

The Equatoguineans were replaced by the Harambee Starlets on October 18 after Kenya protested the eligibility...
