After a winless 2017, Malaysia's new head coach Tan Cheng Hoe hopes to turn around his side's fortunes.

Cambodia attacker Chan Vathanaka has signed for Malaysia Super League (MSL) club Pahang after a disappointing spell in Japan.

Vathanaka has agreed a one-year deal with the Elephants as he opts for Malaysia, despite rumours of interest from clubs in Thailand.

The Cambodian national team have parted company with head coach Leonardo Vitorino, with the Brazilian having spent just seven months in the job.

Vitorino announced his departure via social media, a week after a 5-0 defeat in Vietnam ended Cambodian hopes of qualifying for the Asian Cup in 2019.

Vietnam coach Park targets rise to FIFA top 100, Asian Cup success

Gaining glory for Vietnam wasn't easy for Le Cong Vinh, who's passion for football has been in his soul since a young age.

New head coach Park Hang-Seo is targeting a place in the world's top 100 as he gets to work with the Vietnam national team this week.

The South Korean, who was assistant to Guus Hiddink during his country's run to the 2002 World Cup semifinals, takes over a team on the brink of qualifying for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, following a resounding 5-0 win over Cambodia on Tuesday.
