New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft could be buying a stake in La Liga club Sevilla.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is in negotiations to buy a large stake in La Liga club Sevilla, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish radio broadcaster Cope said a "U.S. investment group" could agree on the purchase of a 40 percent share of the club this week. Kraft reportedly is leading the consortium aiming to buy the shares.

Kraft is the CEO and chairman of the Kraft Group, which also owns the MLS' New England Revolution and the Boston franchise for esports' the Overwatch League.
