Tottenham's Harry Kane not satisfied after scoring 50th goal of 2017

Four second half goals from Tottenham including a Harry Kane brace were enough to see Spurs ease past Stoke at Wembley.
Four second-half goals from Tottenham, including a Harry Kane brace, were enough to see Spurs ease past Stoke at Wembley.
Craig Burley takes a closer look at Spurs' 5-goal rout over Stoke, highlighted by Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min's brilliant performances.
Mauricio Pochettino insists he never lost confidence in Tottenham as they ended a four-match winless skid in the Premier League.

LONDON -- Harry Kane says he is not satisfied with 50 goals in 2017 and finishing 10th in the Ballon d'Or but the Tottenham Hotspur striker has admitted he will not be considered for the biggest individual prizes until Spurs start winning trophies.

Kane's double in Saturday's 5-1 win over Stoke City took him to a half-century of goals in 2017 -- including seven for England -- and he will break Alan Shearer's record for Premier League goals in a calendar year -- 36 in 1995 -- if he scores four more...

Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli go through the motions in defeat at Leicester

Tottenham's winless run in the Premier League now stands at three matches after Leicester's star duo led the Foxes to three points at home.
Following a disappointing loss to Leicester, the FC crew dissect what has gone wrong for Spurs in the Premier League so far.
Mauricio Pochettino says Tottenham's slow start in defeat at Leicester has become a recurring theme for his side.
Dele Alli says Spurs' loss at Leicester is difficult to take, and they need to focus on results rather than the title race.

Spurs slumped to their third away defeat in a row as Leicester took all three points at the King Power Stadium. As so often in recent weeks, Tottenham started slowly and the home side were quick to capitalise with Jamie Vardy opening the scoring in the 13th minute with a neat volley. Leicester doubled their lead shortly before the break when the Spurs defence was again caught napping on a goal from Riyad Mahrez and though Harry Kane pulled a late goal back it was too little too late.

Are slumping Spurs believing too much of their own hype?

Dele Alli says Spurs' loss at Leicester is difficult to take, and they need to focus on results rather than the title race.

Remember all those rave reviews about Tottenham Hotspur and the brilliance of the team's manager, Mauricio Pochettino? You should. They were being posted less than a month ago after Spurs destroyed Liverpool and Real Madrid at Wembley.

Look what has happened since.

The not-so-hot Spurs have lost their way. Last night's defeat at Leicester made it four points from the last 15 available.

The 1-1 draw with a manager-less West Brom on Nov. 25 was just the latest in a series of flat Wembley...

Harry Kane scores, Christian Eriksen disappoints as Spurs draw with lowly WBA

West Brom held Tottenham to a point at Wembley in the first game in charge for Gary Megson.
English Premier League: Harry Kane (74') Tottenham 1-1 West Brom

Tottenham's poor home form continued as they laboured to a 1-1 draw against Premier League strugglers West Brom. The visitors took the lead in the fourth minute after Dele Alli had carelessly given the ball away in midfield and Tottenham struggled to find any rhythm in a disjointed first half. Spurs upped the tempo in the second half but chances were still thin on the ground and the close-range equaliser from Harry Kane in the 74th minute came as both a relief and a surprise. Tottenham pressed...

Kane says Spurs can beat anyone: 'This Champions League is not so scary'

Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino insists he's happy that Danny Rose said he was 'fuming' at being dropped for the north London derby.

Harry Kane claims Tottenham now fear no-one in the Champions League and says they relish taking down Europe's biggest clubs.

Spurs sealed first place in Group H with a win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, which means they go through having collected six points off the German side and four from Real Madrid.

After finishing at home to Apoel Nicosia next month, Tottenham will await the draw for the last 16 on Dec. 11, when they could still be pitted against the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern...

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane strike as several Spurs get high marks

Given Tottenham failed to qualify from a seemingly easier Champions League group last season, they looked to be up against it after being placed alongside Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund this time.

Yet they have made remarkably light work of that challenge, not only reaching the knockout stages but securing the top spot with a game to spare.

Spurs needed to match Madrid's result on Tuesday to claim first place, and they faced an uphill challenge at half-time, trailing 1-0 to Dortmund in Germany...
