Keep expectations of United States striker Josh Sargent realistic - Bremen coach

American teenager Josh Sargent scores with his first touch in the Bundesliga, heading the ball in two minutes after coming on for Werder Bremen.

Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt has urged people not to expect too much of United States international Josh Sargent after he scored his first Bundesliga goal on Friday.

Following seven goals in 12 games for the club's under-23s, 18-year-old Sargent scored less than two minutes into his Bundesliga debut as Bremen beat Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-1.

"We all must be careful what we expect from him," Kohfeldt said. "If he makes five, six Bundesliga appearances until the summer, it is a good a year for...

Niko Kovac admits Borussia Dortmund would have to make mistakes in order for Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title.

Franck Ribery will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic indicated on Tuesday.

It comes after Arjen Robben said earlier this month that he would leave when his contract expires in the summer after a decade of success with the German champions.

Robben, 34, joined in 2009 and formed a formidable attacking partnership with 35-year-old Ribery, whose deal also runs out at the end of the campaign.

Luthe collided with Germany international Kevin Volland 30 minutes into the match, and was cleared to carry on after following the concussion protocol.

"It felt like I was hit by a car," Luthe told Sky after the match. "I bit on my tongue and a part came loose. It's nothing to show on TV."

Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho dedicates winning goal to late grandmother

Shaka Hislop examines the latest transfer rumours involving Aaron Ramsey, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Chicharito and Toby Alderweireld.

Jadon Sancho dedicated his winning goal to his late grandmother as Borussia Dortmund won 2-1 at Ruhr rivals Schalke on Saturday.

Dortmund took an early lead through Thomas Delaney's header, but Daniel Caligiuri equalised from the spot before Sancho struck in the 74th minute.

"The goal means everything to my family. Sadly, my grandmother passed away, so that goal was for her," Sancho, 18, told FOX Sports.

"I'm glad that I got the goal and helped the team to get three points."
