Wilfried Zaha accuses Man United and Liverpool fans of online racial abuse

Wilfried Zaha expressed displeasure with fans' online messages.

Wilfried Zaha said he was racially abused on social media on Saturday, shortly after his Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer accused West Brom's players of targeting the winger during a preseason friendly.

Zaha posted a message on Instagram, suggesting followers of his former club Manchester United and their rivals Liverpool had posted abuse to his timeline.

Tony Pulis dismisses speculation that Jonny Evans could leave West Brom

Jonny Evans joined West Brom from Manchester United in 2015.

Tony Pulis has named Jonny Evans as West Bromwich Albion captain and said the defender will not be sold this summer, amid reported interest from Leicester.

Evans played a key role as the Baggies finished 10th in the Premier League and will take the captain's armband from Darren Fletcher who has departed for Stoke.

Ahmed Hegazi has completed his move to West Brom.

West Brom have strengthened their defensive options with the signing of Egypt international Ahmed Hegazi.

Albion have been tracking the 26-year-old centre-half since his performances caught their eye during the African Nations Cup at the start of the year.

Hegazi has moved to the Hawthorns on a year-long loan from Al Ahly, but West Brom have the option to make it a permanent deal.

West Brom have agreed a deal in principle to sign Egypt international Ahmed Hegazi, sources have told ESPN FC.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has been looking to bring in a new central defender all summer and was interested in loaning Chelsea's Kurt Zouma, but backed off after learning of the cost of his loan fee and wages and has now switched his attention to 26-year-old Hegazi.
