Wellington Phoenix pulled to within a point of the A-League top four with a narrow 3-2 win over Western Sydney.

Wellington Phoenix coach Mark Rudan plans to bring in more talent to supplement his rising A-League club's squad and their list of shrewd overseas signings and quirky characters.
