Adama Traore scored his first goal for Middlesbrough as they beat QPR 3-0 at Loftus Road - their third consecutive away victory.

Daniel Ayala's header and George Friend's brilliant strike put Boro in control by half-time and Traore sealed their win with five minutes remaining.

They went ahead when Ben Gibson flicked on Grant Leadbitter's 24th-minute corner and Ayala nodded home unchallenged at the far post.

Friend doubled the visitors' lead 11 minutes later, smashing a left-footed shot from 25 yards...

Montreal Impact sign right-back Michael Petrasso from QPR

Michael Petrasso is returning to Canada with the Montreal Impact.

The Montreal Impact signed right-back Michael Petrasso from Queens Park Rangers on Thursday.

The 22-year-old had been with the English Championship club for the past six years, but mutually agreed to terminate his contract last week. He signed a two-year deal with a club option for a third.

He spent much of his time in England on loan to a series of clubs in League One, but he did appear in 11 Championship games for QPR.

A product of Toronto FC's academy, Petrasso has earned eight caps...

Second-half goals from Conor Washington and Massimo Luongo fired QPR to their second away win of the season as they beat Burton 3-1.

Northern Ireland striker Washington capitalised on some hesitant home defending in the 74th minute before Luongo sealed victory for Rangers with a late strike from inside the area.

Aramide Oteh's first senior goal had given the visitors the lead 11 minutes before half-time but Lloyd Dyer quickly levelled for Albion, who have now gone 10 home league games without a win...

Ousseynou Cisse scored the winning goal as League One's MK Dons knocked Sky Bet Championship side QPR out of the FA Cup with a 1-0 victory at Loftus Road.

Cisse scored on the hour mark courtesy of a farcical mistake by Rs midfielder Josh Scowen.

Scowen chased a misplaced pass from team-mate Grant Hall and by nudging the ball away from the right-hand touchline in order to keep it in play, he inadvertently sent Cisse through on goal.

Cisse took full advantage, shooting beyond keeper Alex Smithies and...

Paul Smyth scored the winner on his QPR debut as Cardiff suffered a fourth consecutive defeat, going down 2-1 at Loftus Road.

Joe Ralls put Cardiff ahead with a penalty nine minutes into the second half after Jake Bidwell was adjudged to have pushed Callum Patterson.

But Matt Smith equalised on 62 minutes when he rose to head in Jack Robinson's long throw-in and Northern Ireland Under-21 international Smyth struck with 18 minutes remaining.

The 20-year-old forward, a summer signing from Linfield, skipped...
