Luiz Felipe Scolari told ESPN Brasil that Colombia have been in contact.

Former Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has confirmed he has been contacted by Colombian Football Federation over the national team's vacant manager role.

Scolari led Palmeiras to the 2018 title and, speaking at the Brazilian Bola de Prata awards, said he will consider the opportunity now that the season is over.

"There has been an approach, yes [by Colombia]," he told ESPN Brasil. "It is a role which, now that the season is over, we can think about more clearly.

Ex-Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari leads Palmeiras to Brazilian title

Felipe Scolari took over a Palmeiras side who were seventh in the table.

Palmeiras won the Brazilian championship with a match to spare when they won 1-0 at Vasco da Gama on Sunday, bringing their coach Luiz Felipe Scolari another major title at the age of 70.

Scolari, Brazil coach when they won their fifth World Cup in 2002 and also in charge of the side humiliated 7-1 at home by Germany on home soil in 2014, took over in July with Palmeiras lying seventh, eight points behind the leaders.
