Manchester City's Kyle Walker says Phil Foden ready to step in for Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne arrived at the premier of Manchester City's film about their title winning season on crutches after suffering an injury to his right knee at training.
ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop assesses how Man City will fare in Kevin De Bruyne's absence following his recent knee injury.

MANCHESTER -- Manchester City youngster Phil Foden is ready to make the step up if Kevin De Bruyne is ruled out for any length of time, according to teammate Kyle Walker.

The Belgium international is facing further tests after suffering a knee injury in training with fears that he could have suffered ligament damage that could rule him out for three months.

De Bruyne's loss will be a big blow for Pep Guardiola's side but could present an opportunity for 18-year-old Foden, who is already being talked...

Manchester City loan Patrick Roberts to Girona after spells at Celtic

Manchester City have loaned winger Patrick Roberts to Girona in Spain for the next year.

Roberts, 21, spent the previous two and a half years on loan with Celtic, after signing for City from Fulham in 2015, and Scottish champions had been keen to sign him for a third year.

But he will now shift to La Liga to play for Girona, who like Man City are part of the umbrella City Football Group. He will join City's Aleix Garcia in moving to the club on loan this year.

"The 21-year-old's move to Girona...

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini rules out signing Yaya Toure

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has ruled out a move for free agent Yaya Toure, and said his squad is "complete."

Toure ended his eight-year stay at Manchester City this summer and is currently without a club. A reunion with the Chilean boss at the London Stadium had been tipped as a possibility but Pellegrini said he has no plans to pursue a move for the 35-year-old midfielder.

"Yaya Toure is a good player, he will always be a good player, but for the moment he is not for West Ham," Pellegrini...

Tottenham want to delay Man City game, host at Wembley - Mauricio Pochettino

Mauricio Pochettino says if Tottenham are to win trophies, they need players focused on the team's goals and not individual targets.

LONDON -- Tottenham Hotspur are looking at the possibility of hosting Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Monday, Oct. 29, as they seek a resolution to their fixture issue, coach Mauricio Pochettino said on Thursday.

Spurs, who host Fulham at Wembley on Saturday, already moved home matches against Liverpool on Sept. 15 and Cardiff City on Oct. 6 to the national stadium because their new venue will not be ready in time.

The fourth home match of the season, against City, is scheduled for Oct....

Response to Raheem Sterling criticism 'shameful' from FA - Kick It Out

Former England striker Ian Wright feels Manchester City give Raheem Sterling the confidence to play his best, while he is under more pressure with England.
Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva provided the goals to help Manchester City begin their title defence with a 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Kick It Out chairman Lord Herman Ouseley said there has been a "shameful silence" over the criticism of Manchester City's Raheem Sterling.

Sterling was the focus of negative attention in parts of the media for a tattoo on his leg depicting a gun. He has also been in the newspapers for driving an unwashed car, shopping at a discount store and buying sausage rolls from the bakery Greggs.

Despite England's run to the World Cup semifinals yielding widespread praise across the country, Sterling's performances...
