Lyon's Nabil Fekir doesn't regret celebration that sparked pitch invasion

Police restored order after St Etienne fans had entered the pitch following Nabil Fekir's celebration.

Nabil Fekir told Canal+ he did not regret the goal celebration that sparked a pitch invasion during Lyon's derby win over St Etienne on Sunday.

Fekir took off his shirt, brandishing his name and number to St Etienne fans, after scoring Lyon's fifth five minutes from time of their 5-0 triumph over their bitter Rhone rivals.

Angered by the gesture, which has also been employed by Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the past, St Etienne supporters spilled onto the pitch, forcing...

St Etienne pitch invasion, Balotelli red card caps drama-filled Ligue 1 weekend

Mario Balotelli scored the game-winning goal, but was later sent off for a reckless tackle in Nice's in 1-0 win over Dijon.
Monaco's Leonardo Jardim is already resigned to the fact that PSG are unstoppable in Ligue 1 just 12 games into the season.
ESPN FC's Stewart Robson breaks down how Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe can prove to be more essential to PSG than Neymar.

Mario Balotelli scored the winner but was later sent off as struggling Nice ended a four-match Ligue 1 losing streak by beating Dijon 1-0 at home.

Former Manchester City and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli converted a 39th-minute penalty for his sixth league goal after Alassane Plea was brought down by Jordan Marie.

But his afternoon ended on a sour note when he was shown a straight red card for a tackle from behind on defender Cedric Yambere.
