Jordan Lukaku aiming to 'improve a lot' following Lazio transfer

Jordan Lukaku was part of Belgium's squad at Euro 2016.

New Lazio left-back Jordan Lukaku has said that one of the main reasons he moved to Italy was to improve the defensive side of his game.

Lukaku, 22, completed a switch from Belgian top-flight club KV Oostende last week in a deal said to be worth €5 million.

The younger brother of Everton striker Romelu, he was part of a Belgium defence that was cut apart by Wales in a 3-1 loss at the Euro 2016 quarterfinals.

Lukaku is hoping that a move to Serie A will help him become a better defender.
