FC Dallas were back to their best after last week's defeat at RSL, brushing aside Chicago 3-1 in Frisco for their 11th win of the season.

Kellyn Acosta scored his first goal of the season shortly after coming on as a substitute as host FC Dallas defeated the 10-man Chicago Fire 3-1 Saturday night to claim the Brimstone Cup.

Acosta entered the game in the 69th minute, one minute before Chicago defender Drew Conner picked up his second yellow card to force the Fire to play shorthanded the rest of the way.

Acosta took a pass from Victor Ulloa and blasted a 20-yard shot into the bottom right corner of the net, past the outstretched fingers...

Bastian Schweinsteiger scored late, but it was the former Chicago player David Accam that stole the show deep into stoppage time for Philadelphia.

David Accam scored the game-winning goal in the 95th minute to lift the Philadelphia Union to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Fire on Wednesday at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill.

The winner came one minute after Bastian Schweinsteiger tied the game for Chicago in second-half stoppage time.

Cory Burke scored two goals and Haris Medunjanin added one goal for the Union, who earned just their second road win of the season.

The Union had dropped four of five.
