Jacob Pepper & Andrew Nabbout
Jacob Pepper, left, battles for the ball with Newcastle's Andrew Nabbout.

Newcastle Jets coach Ernie Merrick is demanding action over an ugly tackle that has put his star recruit Pato Rodriguez in doubt for Saturday's A-League clash against Wellington.

Fullback Georgievski promised the Jets would not be so slow out of the blocks again in Friday's home clash against...

The Roar fell 3-0 to Sydney FC on Monday night, their sixth loss at Suncorp Stadium this season, fourth in a row at home and second in four days.

While Aloisi is clinging to hope their fortunes will change once their injured stars are back, Ben Khalfallah -- who joined the Roar from perennial powerhouse Melbourne Victory last season -- pointed the finger squarely...
