Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Danny Ings to Southampton

Southampton have made an offer for Danny Ings worth £10 million plus add-ons, according to The Sun. Liverpool reportedly want £20m for the 25-year-old striker, who has suffered from serious knee injuries during his time at Anfield. The Merseysiders signed him from Burnley for a total of £8m in 2015 but he is now well down Jurgen Klopp's striking pecking order.

Joao Mario to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Portugal international Mario could be the latest big name to join newly-promoted Wolves with reports from French journalist John Ferreira suggesting that a deal is imminent. The 25-year-old, contracted to Inter Milan, has previously spoken about his desire to leave Serie A, and spent the latter half of last season on loan at West Ham.

Jasper Cillessen to Liverpool

Liverpool's search for a new goalkeeper continues, and the Merseyside club have reportedly made an offer for Cillessen that the Dutch goalkeeper will "analyse" according to Mundo Deportivo. Cillessen is considering whether to call time on his time in Barcelona after being second-choice since joining in 2016, and will weigh up Liverpool's offer.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Chelsea

With Maurizio Sarri now officially at the helm, Chelsea seem keen to keep buying from Italy. They have reportedly joined the race to sign 23-year-old Milinkovic-Savic, also a Real Madrid and Manchester United transfer target, from Lazio. The Italian club are looking to receive £115m in a cash-plus-player deal, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Andy Carroll to Besiktas

Carroll was revealed to need minor ankle surgery last week, but that hasn't stopped him being involved in transfer rumours. Turkish outlet Fanatik are reporting that the 29-year-old forward has been offered on loan to Besiktas, but that the Turkish club are waiting for the green light from their manager Senol Gunes. According to reports, Carroll is also interesting Besiktas' rivals Fenerbahce.
