Jamie Vardy admits he voted for wife Rebekah in 'I'm a Celeb' jungle

Jamie Vardy has revealed that he was at least partially responsible for his wife Rebekah having to go through the harrowing ordeal of a Bushtucker trial on "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here".

The Leicester City star chortled that he voted "five times" to see Rebekah take on the challenge, which consisted of eating a variety of gruesome items, including an ostrich foot, on live television.

"Sorry babe just wanted everyone to see that you're fearless & you proved me right," the Foxes forward explained on social media.

Rebekah duly proved her mettle, chomping her way through a smorgasbord of jungle critters to win eight out of nine stars, thus earning proper food rations for the rest of her camp mates.

Still, she probably won't be too quick to thank her husband for the experience.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
